PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This single-storey house extension in perth was designed to create additional living space for our clients as well as, improving the connnection between the rear of the house and the garden.
As it stands, the site in which the existing house sits is quite unusual, the back garden is skewed at 45 degrees from the house. This quirk sparked the idea of utilising the house extension to re-align the house with the bright and well used garden.
Internally, a bi-fold door and large roof lights allow the space to glow in natural light. In addition, vaulting the ceiling will increase the sence of space felt when relaxing in the room.
Externally, the building is clad in a modern blue brick. This will contrast with the grey stone of the exisiting house whilst still being a hard wearing and long lasting material.
